Help us raise money

On May 9, we are participating in the Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute’s Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant team's annual 5K run/walk to support LVAD (like MIKE!) and heart transplant patients.

This event brings the community together and helps raise crucial funds for LVAD and heart transplant patients who face financial barriers to their treatments.   We were fortunate that Mike received all the care he needed thanks to having great insurance and a a GREAT team of doctors.  We want to be sure financial concerns are not a barrier for anyone that needs this lifesaving treatment.

Your contribution will go directly to patient needs ... essential medications, medical equipment, and even costs of daily necessities, such as electricity that powers their heart pumps.  Every dollar raised goes directly to providing financial assistance to patients in need, ensuring they can continue their journey toward better health and quality of life.

Mike and other LVAD and heart transplant patients will be celebrated and honored at the event as many will be walking or running alongside us.
