My Story…
I guess I am not retiring! There is always a reason to keep moving and this time it’s for the Red Sox Foundation and the battle against cancer. There are two reasons for this half-marathon/marathon journey which will take place around Fenway Park. My main reason has been watching a fellow brother officer who had been battling cancer and lost his battle during his 2nd fight of the disease on April 15, 2026. Badge #267, Officer Araujo, you are missed beyond words. His strength and determination to fight is a reminder how precious life is.
My second reason is watching the strength of Tim Wakefield’s family “Triump over Tragedy” through the loss of both parents at such a young age. It’s truly amazing especially knowing the family and how they ate navigating their life.
Help me fight this battle with them! Please donate to help the continued fight against cancer!!
