Balsam Lake Freedom Fest 5K Run/Walk

Join us for the annual run/walk. Event is sponsored by the Unity Lions Club.

Family & stroller friendly. Race benefits community/school projects to include scholarships, fire dept., Senior Citizens Center and holiday festivities. Many individual & family needs.

Start/finish on south side of Balsam Lake Village Hall (see maps).

Plaques & gift certificates for:

1st place for both Males & Females in the following categories:

Kids 1-10; Youth 11-18; Adult 18 to 64; Senior 65 and older

*New in 2026, to ensure this is a true family friendly event there will also be one overall winner in the Stroller category!

All registrants will receive a race shirt. Sizes available: adult small, medium, large, x-large, 2X

Pre-race registrants may pick up their bib & shirt Friday evening (July 3) between 6 & 7 pm at the Balsam Lake

Village Hall garage located on the east side of the building or pick up Saturday morning beginning at 7am at

the race site.

Limited race day registrations/cash or check only. Registration will open at 7:00am and close at 8:00am.

Water available on the course and at the finish line.

Inclement weather or other events above and beyond the control of the race sponsors all proceeds will

benefit the Unity Lions Club community/school projects. All registrations are non-refundable and non-

transferrable.
