Run with the Herd 5K is a family-friendly walk/run created to support the important work of SAVE, a locally based, nationally recognized expert in suicide prevention and support resources.

Not sure if a 5K is for you? We've added a 1K option!

We'll have pizza, beer, and beverages waiting for you!

Thursday, June 11 at Lake Phalen Regional Park

Ways to participate:

The beauty of this fundraiser is that every single one of you can participate. Here's how:

  1. Sign up to come to the 5k in person at Lake Phalen on June 11.

  2. Donate to support loved ones impacted by suicide.

  3. Share this event on your social media pages. RSVP to the Facebook event here!

  4. Talk to your family and friends about creating a fundraising team to honor your loved ones touched by suicide

If every single person reading this does one (or more!) of these things, we will be able to save SO MANY LIVES.

Run With the Herd was created in loving memory of Tim Poferl. This event is about coming together as family, friends and community, from seasoned marathoners to casual walkers.

All proceeds benefit SAVE - Suicide Awareness Voices of Education. The mission of SAVE is to prevent suicide through education, advocacy, lethal means safety efforts, and support for suicide loss survivors.

Tim Poferl was a son, grandson, brother, uncle, friend, and runner. He had an affinity for the Bison, the symbol of our group. Join the herd and make a difference. This run's for Tim.
