My Story…
I’m running (actually, walking) in support of those living with Endometriosis, a disease that affects at least 1 in 10 women, yet remains deeply misunderstood and under researched.
For many of us, it means years of being dismissed and fighting to be heard. While the average time to reach a diagnosis is 7 to 10 years, my own journey took even longer.
It took me countless doctor’s appointments, failed medications, and 11 years of suffering before a surgery finally gave me answers. I’ll be undergoing my second surgery later this year.
Endometriosis continues to impact every area of my life, but I keep showing up, pushing forward, and advocating as much as I can, despite how debilitating this disease can be.
I’m participating in the Run to End Endo to help raise awareness, support research, and push for earlier diagnosis and better care. No one should have to wait over a decade for answers.
If you’re able to donate or share, it truly means a lot. Thank you for your support! 💛
