Welcome to the Kelowna Running Club's
100km March Virtual Challenge!
March 1st - March 31st 2026

The KRC 100km challenge is a great opportunity to get a jump-start on our training for the year ahead! This is a distance challenge that has the goal of at least 100 total kilometres in the month of March. This is a FREE, virtual event so there is no set location and you can complete it in as many separate activities as you like (or all in one go if you're really sadistic!). This event is available free to all registered members of the Kelowna Running Club.
The 100k Challenge
After each of your runs this month, enter your results by logging into RaceRoster.com or by using your name and registration number. Select the event and enter your distance and time. For proof of completion, we ask that you upload a file/photo showing date and distance when you enter your result for each run. A distance tracking app, such as Strava, Garmin or Runkeeper, can provide the necessary data to submit, but is not necessary. If you need assistance, please contact Josh at kelownarunningclub@gmail.com
Get free KRC swag and win prizes!
In addition to the challenge, every participant will receive a FREE pair of custom KRC branded socks and everyone who completes the 100km distance will be eligible for door prizes! The results and draw for prizes will take place in early April.
Weekly Challenges
This year we will be awarding prizes each week during the challenge. These prizes will go to whoever wins that specific week's challenge based on their Strava stats. You won't find out what the next challenge is until the start of that week so keep an eye on the event page or your inbox for updates!
Important Note: To take part in the challenges, you will need to join our event group on Strava: https://www.strava.com/clubs/1980002

Walkers
This event is not exclusive to runners. We love that our club has a sizable contingent of passionate walkers and we support you too! There is no minimum speed at which you must complete your kilometres, so whatever activity you are doing, you are just as welcome to join us! To be eligible for the prize draws at then end of the event you must complete the 100km, but the free socks and participation are not reliant on distance completion. We would encourage you to join, even if you think the distance is beyond you. This event is about challenging yourself, and who knows, you may rack up those kilometres quicker than you expect!
Every year we are grateful for the many sponsors who donate prizes to this event. Their logos are below with links to their websites and we encourage you to repay their generosity by supporting their businesses.

What happens if i do not finish the 100k?
No problem! We all know that life happens and we get busy. This event is designed for personal motivation but to encourage people to finish the distance (and reward those that did so) only finishers will be included in the prize draw at the end of the event.
