The North Shore Distance Classic is a 13.1 and 4 mile race held on the North Shore of Lake Macbride in Solon, IA. This year's race is October 24, 2026.

All runners that complete the half marathon will receive a finishers' medal. Prizes will be given for the overall male and female winners of the 4 mile and Half Marathon. 

Age group medals will be given for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall M/F in the 4 mile and Half Marathon. 

Packet pickup is on race day only at the Main Lodge from 7:30-8:30am. No race day registration. Distance changes must be reported by 8am.

These will be long sleeve shirts. No shirts are guaranteed with registrations made after October 10. Shirts are an extra cost and are not included in the registration fee.
