2026 Memberships
Lightweight Motorcycle Club (LWMCC) is an independent association. Our committee and members are required to conduct themselves according the constitution, rules and policies.
LWMCC declares that Motorcycle sport is dangerous and whilst all care will be taken NO responsibility will be taken for injuries or worse within the premises. You are entering the premise AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Please make sure you read and agree to the following BEFORE proceeding to sign up.
Please make yourself familiar with the rules - events will be run as they have been in the past and any non-compliance or breaking of rules may result in warnings and/or loss of membership.
GOLDEN RULES
- You ride at your OWN risk
- NO MEMBER IS PERMITTED TO BRING A NON-MEMBER INTO THE TRACK TO RIDE. IF YOU ARE FOUND DOING THIS YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE REVOKED AND A LIFETIME BAN ISSUED
- No Solo Riding EVER - You must have another person present to supervise and they must be over the age of 18
- First lap on track must be used as a sighting lap to ensure the rider has inspected the track. Any track issues to be reported immediately.
- For safety reasons riders should practice in their designated class and on the track appropriate for that class.
- Riders must ensure the track is clear and confirm with other riders present before entering.

If there is any breach of these rules, it may result in suspension or expulsion from the club.
CLUB RULES
- You must be a full financial member of the Club to ride.
- LWMCC is for 2 wheeled dirt bikes only. NO quads are permitted on the track at any time.
- Club membership proof must be carried with you at all times and presented to the club members or officials upon request. Any member can request proof of membership at any time.
- No riding outside of permitted hours. These are posted on the gate and the club website
- Gate keys must not be shared and if you loose your gate key it must be reported to a committee member IMMEDIATELY.
- Gates MUST be locked at all times. It is your responsibility to re-lock the gate upon entry and departure. If you leave the gate open and a non-member enters the track you could be fully liable if an incident occurs.
- Fully approved Helmet, chest protection, goggles, boots, gloves, protective clothing is to be worn at all times whilst riding.
- AMBULANCE COVER is ESSENTIAL; NO liability is accepted by the club.
- Sign on sheets are to be signed prior to you taking the track for practice. These are located in the scrutineering shed.
- You MUST personally inspect the track before riding. Ensure the conditions are safe and acceptable for riding.
- Report any track damage, large debris or building damage or vandalism to the clubs committee IMMEDIATELY
- Riding on MX Track ONLY in the direction the track is designed to go as per the track map. No cutting the track or partial laps permitted.
- Motorcycle capacities should generally not be mixed on track during practice sessions. Clear communication between riders and parent/guardians is required before entering the track.
- No riding anywhere other than the MX Track and the pit area. The Arena Cross track is CLOSED and riding on that track is NOT PERMITTED AT ANYTIME!
- Exit the track via the Pit return gate in front of the scrutineering shed.
- Bikes are to be ridden at walking pace through the pit areas
- Persons are NOT to cross the track while riding is in progress
- There are to be no modifications to the track
- No consumption of alcohol whilst riding or riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- No alcohol in the pit area and No BYO.
- No riding when the temperature is 38 degrees or above due to fire risk.
- If a fire/ movement ban is in place there is to be no riding at the track.
- The committee can close the track at any time for rider safety and track maintenance works. This will be communicated via the club Facebook page.
- The track will be closed prior to events for preparation, and this will be communicated via the club Facebook page.
- All persons under eighteen (18) must be accompanied by an adult family member or guardian. Child spectators are to be supervised by parent or guardian at all times.
- There is no abusive language or antisocial behavior between members or officials whilst at the club facility or over social media.
- No camping is permitted unless given permission by the Club Committee .
- All general rubbish is to be placed in provided bins, items such as broken Gazebos, oils and tyres are not to be dumped.
- You must obey all officials & Committee requests at all times.
- It is the member responsibility to ensure and maintain the following Bike Safety Requirements:
- Handle Bar ends are to be plugged
- Brake levers are complete and have no sharp edges
- Front and Rear brakes are in working order
- Throttle returns to idle position
- No “Barkbusters” aluminium style hand guards allowed. Soft plastic “Roost” guards are permitted
- No registration plates to be affixed to bikes
- Side stands are to be removed
- Glass headlights to be covered/taped.
- No loose, sharp or damaged plastics, parts or equipment is attached to the bike.
- Spokes are all attached and tightened.
- Wheel, head and swingarm bearings are in a satisfactory condition.
- Drive chain is within manufacturer's tolerance and does not have excessive wear.
- The club reserves the right to refuse a bike/rider due to safety concerns for the rider or other participants, officials and spectators.
If there is any breach of these rules, it may result in suspension or expulsion from the club.
First offence will receive 1 warning (EXCLUDING GOLDEN RULES)
Second offence will receive your membership revoked for the season.

FLAGGING/HELPER DUTIES
It is a requirement that riders provide a flaggy/helper (16yrs+) for race day events.
