Join us Saturday, October 3, 2026 as we celebrate the 20th Panting Four Paws featuring a 5k/10k run/walk and 1 Mile walk.
For two decades, Panting 4 Paws has helped save thousands of lives and given countless animals their second chances.
This race isn't just about miles - - it's about Hope, Healing and Happy Tails!
We’re still trying to raise funds for our Phase 2 or renovations, and we need your support to continue working towards our goal of providing an even better space for our animals while they’re in our care, awaiting their forever homes.

Helping Paws Animal Shelter
Our Story
Helping Paws is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Our small, committed staff and dedicated volunteers handle and care for more than 800 animals annually. Each animal that comes into our shelter is treated with respect, kindness and compassion. We believe that for each of our animals…”Second Chances Start Here.”

Pre Race Day Packet Pick Up will be held on Friday, October 2nd from 3PM - 6:30PM at:

Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up will open at 7:00 AM at Lippold Park, Crystal Lake.
5K * 10K * 1 Mile Race starts at 8:30 AM.
Must be registered 9/13/26 to be guaranteed shirt/size (Shirt not included with 1 mile registration)

Award Ceremony will be held after the last person crosses the finish line! (Approximately 9:45 AM)
