Abbotsford Running group is for anyone who loves running. Every Thursday night we have coached workouts which will help runners who would like to get stronger and faster while having fun. If you are training for a 5 k or marathon these workouts are vital to make you a complete runner. We often meet at Rotary Track however we do often meet on local parks or roads depending on the workout.
Thursday night workouts start 5:45pm (warm-up first with workout commencing at 6.10 PM). The leader is with past national champion and 1991 Sun Run champ Phil Ellis (he has a 28:40 10K and 63-minute half marathon best). This type of running gives you strength and speed to help you run more efficiently and ultimately faster.
The group also meets on Saturday morning for long runs and Tuesday evenings for group runs. Everyone is welcome for these runs, and you do not need to sign up for them!!!
