We’re happy to share that the race course will return to its original route for this year’s event!

With construction now complete, the 5-mile course will once again follow the official route and will be USATF certified on race day.

We know how important certification is for those tracking times, setting personal records, or qualifying for other events, and we’re glad to bring that experience back this year.

Thank you for your continued support—we can’t wait to see you on race day!

8:00 AM: 5 Mile Race--NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS
8:05 AM: 2.1 Mile Race--NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS

Race packets and t-shirts will be available at Packet Pick up - Friday, July 18th at the Y, 8am - 6pm

Race day packet pick up will be at the start line from 6:30-7:30 AM.

2.1 Mile and 5 Mile: ABSOLUTELY NO RACE DAY ENTRIES.

Junior Runaround:
Entries will be accepted at the race. No Entry fee. Must be 12 or under.

Runners who have finished at least ten races (either or both distances) since the beginning of the Downtown Runaround will be eligible for special prizes.

All entrants will receive a "Bob L Downtown Runaround Columbus" T-shirt.

Deadline for shirts is July 14th at 11:59pm Central Time

The business that has the most finishers in the 2.1 and 5 mile race will be awarded the Corporate Cup to be displayed at their place of business for the year.

Join us after the race for our award ceremony at Glurs Tavern (pizza and beverages for race participants ONLY).

Top 3 Overall Male & Female in 5-Mile Race*
Top 3 Overall Male & Female in 2.1-Mile Race*
Top Male & Female in 5-Mile Age Groups:
Masters 40-49
Grand Masters 50-59
Grand Senior Masters 60+
Top 3 in each Age Group (Male & Female):
5-mile: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 -69, 70-74, 75+
2.1-mile: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
*Top 3 overall are not eligible for age category medals*

Overall Male & Female Alumni XC Runners (CHS, LHS, SCCHS) in 5-Mile Race.

Fastest Male & Female from Columbus.

CORPORATE CUP: Business with the most finishers in the 2.1 and 5 mile race.

All entrants are eligible for door prizes.

If your t-shirt has a “?” on the sleeve, bring it to the awards ceremony after the race to collect your prize.

Veterans who have finished at least 10 previous DTRA races will be eligible for a prize.

******After one hour, race times are not recorded. All entrants are eligible for prize drawings.
Race bibs are not transferable & non-refundable after 6pm on Friday, July 17th

If you win and break the 5 Mile course record, you will receive $250 in cash!
