My Story…
In 2024, I was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare type of cancer. After radiation, two surgeries, and incredible care from my medical team, along with the support of my family, I'm grateful to be celebrating two years cancer-free this July!
Going through treatment showed me just how important research is, especially for rare cancers. I'm forever thankful for the care I received, and I hope this fundraiser helps give future sarcoma patients the same chance.
Because sarcoma is so rare, it receives far less research funding than many other cancers. Every donation helps support research that can lead to better treatments and improved outcomes.

I’m participating in Jonny’s Gold Ribbon Run in support of sarcoma research at McMaster University. This cause is incredibly important to me, and I’m proud to be part of a community coming together to make a difference.
