1. What is the BraveWalk?
The BraveWalk is a community gathering where we come together to raise awareness and funds in support of women on their journey from trauma to stability and independence.
2. When and where is the event?
The BraveWalk will take place on Saturday, September 12th from 9–11 AM at the Whitewater Center.

4. What does my registration include?
Your registration includes access to the walk, BraveWorks branded t-shirt (adults and children & fanny pack (adults only) event programming, and the opportunity to be part of a meaningful community experience supporting BraveWorks.
5. Where do the funds raised go?
Funds raised directly support BraveWorks artisans and programs, including trauma-informed care, workforce development training, and ongoing support services that help women transition from crisis to stability and sustainable independence.
6. Can I fundraise or create a team?
Yes! You’re encouraged to invite friends, family, or colleagues to join you or support your fundraising efforts.
7. Is the walk family-friendly or pet-friendly?
Yes, the BraveWalk is a family-friendly event. (Pet guidelines may vary based on venue policies.)
8. What should I bring or wear?
We recommend comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything that helps you feel prepared for a morning outdoors.

11. Is parking available?
Yes, parking is avaiable on-site at the Whitewater Center. Please note that parking requires a fee and is paid directly to the venue upon arrival.
- Every furry friend will receive an adorable bandana!
- Dogs must be leashed at all times (no retractable leashes).
- Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
- Dogs should be friendly, well-socialized, and comfortable in crowds.
- Please ensure your dog is up-to-date on vaccinations.
- Bring water for your dog and monitor for signs of heat or stress.
- Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated—event staff may ask you to leave if needed.
- Please keep dogs close and under control in high-traffic areas.
