Hi, I’m Chrissie Lyons, founder of Arrows of Hope, and I’m leading the Arrows of Hope team for Footsteps for Families to support Lydia Home and Safe Families.

This mission is deeply personal to me because I am a Lydia kid. I lived at Lydia for three years, and I know firsthand how much it matters when people show up for a child.

When I lived at Lydia, there were people who made me feel seen, cared about, and loved. Those moments stayed with me. They helped me keep believing in the world, in myself, and in the possibility that my life could become something more.

And what a journey my life became. I went on to build a family I love, make the USA Archery Team, become a World Games silver medalist, set five world records, and be named World Archery Americas Athlete of the Year. I found purpose, community, and a life where I am not alone anymore.

A child who is seen and supported can grow into a life they never imagined.

That is why I started Arrows of Hope.

Through Arrows of Hope, we want to use archery to help children build confidence, courage, focus, connection, and hope. This walk is one of the ways we are raising funds to keep Arrows of Hope programs growing, so we can continue creating archery opportunities for children and families who need encouragement, connection, and hope.

Funds raised through our team will be earmarked for Arrows of Hope.
