Turkey Trot 5K Additional Information
Flat course through a Norwell Neighborhood, this race starts and ends at Norwell High School.
All proceeds from the race go to Norwell Middle School to help provide grants to teachers, enrichment programs and ancillary student services.
Kids Turkey Chase:
Kids Turkey Chase Online registration: $5
Turkey Chase Offline and DAY-OF registration: $10
*T-shirts are available for $10 for all Turkey Chasers but must be ordered by Nov. 1st.
Turkey Chase is for Kids 10 & under (ages will be divided into 4 categories)
*Please meet near LOT B/ The Tennis Court Parking Lot for this event.
*Turkey CHASE entry fee does not enter child in the 5K. They are 2 separate events.
Race Route:
Start at NHS, right onto South St, left onto Pleasant St, left onto EA Joseph then back to NHS.
Online registration is open through midnight on Thursday, November 19th.

John Hughan Kindness Contest
Volunteers will be looking for ACTS OF KINDNESS to recognize on Race Day, as well as requesting race participants to notice and report observed acts of kindness.
Winners will receive a custom Kindness Hoodie- (Male and Female prizes will be awarded.)
-80's Themed Costumes and/or Thanksgiving Turkey Costumes (dress for the cold!)
Sign up as a Team - Name your Team and win Turkey socks or gloves for the day of the race!
Food Pantry Donations Collected
Items for the Food Pantry
As many households prepare for Thanksgiving and may not have means to fill their pantry, Please consider bringing an item to donate to the Simple Gesture/Norwell Food Pantry for those who may be suffering from food insecurity.
Items requested: $25 grocery gift cards to Market Basket, Big Y, or Shaw’s, because of increased food costs, Food Items Requested: Cereal • Peanut Butter • Pasta & Sauce • Canned Tuna/Chicken • Soup • Canned Fruit • Rice • Mac & Cheese • Snacks • Personal Care Items
Weather
The Race is Rain or Shine or Wind or Cold...but hopefully SUN!
Parking at Norwell High School in Lot C - or as directed by Race Volunteers. There will be a sign on race day to the designated parking areas.
The Kids Turkey Chase starts 9:00am and 5K Turkey Trot and Walk starts at 9:30am!
Plan parking accordingly.
