My Story…
My family and I participate in this 5k event in memory of my grandma, Louise(Lou) Chmura. My grandma was a patient at the cancer center being treated for breast cancer for the 2nd time when I was just 2 yrs old. She spent my 3rd birthday in ICU at Griffin Hospital and passed the next day. I remember and miss my grandma Louise and know she loved me. I honor her every year since then to keep her close in my heart and memory. Thank you for supporting me and our family/team in this annual fundraiser. I know my grandma is proud of us!
