Practice Day – Terms and Conditions of Participation
By signing onto and participating in a Carnarvon Motorcycle Club practice session, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Eligibility to Ride
All riders must be current financial members of the Carnarvon Motorcycle Club Inc.
Proof of membership may be requested at sign-on.
Riders must be competent and capable of safely operating a motorcycle appropriate to the track conditions.
Riders must sign the Participation Waiver prior to entering the track.
Riders under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present and provide signed consent.
2. Mandatory Safety Requirements
Riders must wear mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while riding, including:
Approved helmet
Gloves
Riding boots
Long pants
Long sleeve jersey or shirt
Body armour or chest protector
Motorcycles must be mechanically sound and safe to operate.
The Club reserves the right to inspect equipment and refuse participation if safety requirements are not met.
3. Ambulance and Personal Insurance
Riders must have current ambulance coverage through private health insurance or an ambulance subscription.
Riders are responsible for ensuring they hold appropriate personal insurance.
The Club does not provide personal accident insurance for riders.
Participation without appropriate cover is at the rider’s own financial risk.
4. Track Use and Conduct
Riders must follow all directions from officials, marshals and volunteers.
A site lap must be completed at the beginning of riding to assess track conditions.
Riders must operate their motorcycle in a safe and controlled manner at all times.
Dangerous, reckless or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate removal from the track.
5. Drugs and Alcohol
Riders must not participate while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The Club reserves the right to refuse participation where impairment is suspected.
6. Right to Refuse or Remove Participation
The Carnarvon Motorcycle Club reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant from the event if:
The rider is not a current financial member
Safety requirements are not met
PPE is not worn
Behaviour is unsafe or non-compliant
Directions from officials are not followed
This decision is final and made in the interest of safety.
7. Responsibility for Property
Riders are responsible for the security and condition of their own motorcycles and equipment.
The Club accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
8. Weather and Track Conditions
Practice sessions are subject to weather and track conditions.
The Club may modify, suspend or cancel riding at any time where conditions are deemed unsafe.
9. Photography and Media
The Club may take photographs or video footage during events.
By participating, you consent to the use of these images for promotional and community purposes.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By signing the Participation Waiver, you acknowledge that:
You are a current financial member of the Carnarvon Motorcycle Club Inc.
You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
You agree to comply with all requirements
You understand that participation is voluntary and at your own risk

Where pricing applies, shown amounts include mandatory charges, items, and fees.
