Volunteer Details and Shift Positions
Packet Pickup Shifts:

Race Day - Nov. 7, 2026 - 7AM - 8AM
Race site - 310 E Eldorado Pkwy
This position requires using a computer to check in participants and assign their bibs. You will be assigning bibs, handing out shirts, and any other promotional items to the runners. Please select the positions you are available for. We will assign each volunteer based on availability and openings.
Venue Volunteers:
Race day venue volunteers need to be able to be on-site early, be on their feet for extended periods of time, and be able to bend and lift items up to approximately 30 lbs. You will be handing out refreshments and food, keeping the venue clean, and helping with other tasks as needed. Positive attitudes and smiling faces are needed!
Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup:
This position requires using a computer to check runners in and assign their bibs. You will be checking runners in, handing out bibs, shirts, and any other registration promotional items. This position allows volunteers to volunteer in the morning and still be able to run in the event.
Start and Finish line:
This position requires being on your feet for extended periods of time, being aware of your surroundings, and providing a high-energy finish for the runners! You will hand each finisher their medal as they cross the finish line and support them with water, hydration, bananas, or other finisher items.
Course Monitors:
This position requires being on your feet and being aware of your surroundings and the runners. You will be on the course, directing the runners where to turn and keeping them on the correct trail. Course monitors can be the hype person on the course and are encouraged to bring fun and supportive energy to the event!
Water Stations:
This position requires being on your feet and moving quickly. You will set up the water table according to the directions given to you by the Volunteer Coordinator and the Course Director. You will keep the table stocked with cups of water/hydration and serve the runners as they pass your table. Water stop volunteers should have high energy and be ready to have fun!
Beer Garden:
This position requires a TABC certification and that you are 12+
Must be able to show/provide TABC upon request. You will be icing down beer, opening and serving the beer, and cleaning up the beer garden.
Please select all the stations that or shifts that you are interested in and available for.
The Volunteer Coordinator will assign shifts and positions based on need and groups.
All assignments will be emailed to you within one week of the event/shift.

Future race credits are earned based on hours and verified by the Volunteer Coordinator.
All credits must be used within the calendar year that they were earned; hours do not roll over from year to year.
