Walk/Run for Domestic Violence Awareness

Day-of registration begins at 8:15am.

Please arrive to Minto Brown Island Parking - Parking Lot #3 to sign up for the race. We can accept cash, card, or check as payment.

Join us for Steps 2 Safety to bring more awareness to the issues of domestic and sexual violence. Our sponsors and participants contribute to our mission and support us in providing vital services to victims and survivors in our community.

The Center for Hope & Safety's mission is to provide a safe environment for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking and educate the public about issues surrounding victimization. Our agency offers a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, community education, and outreach. Learn more at hopeandsafety.org.

All proceeds benefit the Center for Hope & Safety and the Marion County Domestic Violence Council initiatives.

    Ages 6-15 will receive a $15 discount at checkout.

    Ages 5 and under are Free and will receive the discount at checkout.

8:45 AM Opening remarks by the Center for Hope & Safety

9:00 AM Walk/Run start time

Pre-registered racers will pickup their packets the morning of the race at the pre-registration booth. Race packets include your race bib, safety pins, and race t-shirt.


(Please note: Guaranteed t-shirt size requires pre-registration by September 7. Those registering after will be provided a t-shirt based on size availability.)

Racers registering the morning of the race will be given their packet following registration.

Interested in volunteering at Steps 2 Safety?

Volunteers are an integral part of this event. Volunteer duties include supporting with set-up, take-down, course direction, cheering on racers, and more.
