The Hygiene Hustle 5K is a virtual walk, run, or hike happening throughout April, bringing our communities together to celebrate and promote oral health and total health.

This is your chance to recharge, reconnect, and take care of yourself, too.

The event is for everyone, friends, families, workplaces, and communities who want to move their bodies and make a meaningful impact. Whether you are running solo, walking with a friend, or joining as a team, you are part of something bigger, a global movement rooted in connection, health, and giving back.

How It Works

Register for the Virtual Run/Walk/Hike. The cost is $10 (plus fees) with all proceeds benefiting oral health education initiatives.

When: Anytime between April 1-30th, 2026. Pick your day, put it on the calendar, and go for it!

Where: Anywhere! Your neighbourhood, trails, treadmill, or favourite hiking spot.

Distance: 5K your way! Run, walk, hike, or mix it up.

Join Solo or Create a Team

You have the option to make it your own, or form a team and invite your colleagues, friends, and family. Create a team name, pick a theme, or even wear matching outfits! This is an easy, feel-good way to promote wellness, and give back.

Your Impact

Every registration and donation helps a child access oral health education and supplies.

Proceeds from this event support World Health Outreach projects, including the Smile Journey Backpack Project, providing children with:

• Oral hygiene supplies
• A Smile School educational book
• Fun, engaging learning tools
