Remembering our sweet babies at rest in eternity - Emmaus Julian, Clare Francis, Adaiah Sunshine, and Iona Mary. Carrying these babies and then having to say goodbye before hello has been heavy and painful, and we are still learning how to carry grief and joy together. Iona was born after her heart stopped beating in June. Clare's first anniversary was in August. I miscarried Adaiah near baby Clare's due date. Emmaus was our first bereavement in 2023. We carry them all in our hearts and know they are in the arms of Jesus. Our living children Dottie, Dominic, and Ambrose love their heavenly siblings and bring so much joy, courage, and light. The Butterfly Network has offered support in many tangible ways that have helped to lighten the weight of grief that I will always carry with me. Support groups, bereavement boxes, counselling - helping me and other loss parents feel less alone.
