Saturday Orienteering Series
Boronia Park, Epping on a new map for orienteering
🎯 Ready to level up your weekend?
Whether you're a seasoned speedster or simply keen to try something new, Saturday Orienteering Series is calling.
During our term 2 of events we head into some of Sydney's favourite park locations. Come along and discover the best of the outdoors in Sydney and maybe a few cafes and local specialties along the way.
For this week’s World Orienteering Week celebration, we’re mixing things up with a short and super‑fun ultra‑sprint course. Don’t let the name fool you — you absolutely don’t need to sprint. Just bring your curiosity and enjoy the challenge of quick, careful navigation.
We’ll be exploring Boronia Park in Epping. It’s a compact area, but with over 500 individual trees mapped by cartographer extraordinaire Duncan, it's going to be hectic. Plenty of twists, surprises, and laughs along the way.
Come along for a fast, friendly, and very entertaining orienteering adventure.
👟 How you roll is up to you:
- Go solo and chase that perfect clean run
- Team up with your crew
- Or bring the fam for a relaxed group adventure.
💡 No experience? No worries.
We’ve got maps, beginner-friendly courses, and free tips to get you started. Just rock up in comfy activewear and bring your curiosity. That’s it.
🌿 Saturdays = fresh air, fun vibes, and a bit of sneaky navigation.
Come hang out, get moving, and discover something new.
