It takes a small army of kindness to ensure our runners and walkers are safe and have a memorable experience

Join our #epdiabetes army and help create the best participant experience possible. We have Friday's and Saturday's options as well as a wide variety of positions available. All Volunteers will receive an event volunteer t-shirt, snack, and drinks!

Packet pick up / registration
Packet pickup /Registration volunteers help with the distribution of race packets to participants at events. Some responsibilities of a packet pickup/registration volunteer are to direct runners to the correct area for packet pickup, verify runner identification, hand out race packets, and direct runners to the race registration area if they haven't already registered.
To ensure your task goes smoothly, we will provide you with training on Checkin / Registration software during the week of the race. Training info will be sent via email as we get closer to race week.
Course Marshals
Course Marshal is a volunteer who helps runners complete a race by: Bicyclist: Lead / Support / Trailing

Cyclists have several other responsibilities too, including:
Being prepared - The lead cyclist should be ready to dismount and fix issues, such as incorrect signage or missing volunteers.

Water Station
A water station volunteer's role is to provide runners with water and energy drinks during a race or event. Their responsibilities may include: Volunteering at water stations can be a long day, but it's an important role that helps keep participants hydrated and motivated.
