The 6th Annual Run for Palestine Calgary is here.
Last year, nearly 1,000 Calgarians came together and helped raise almost $100,000 for humanitarian relief. This year, we’re aiming even higher, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best, enjoying a walk with friends, bringing the kids out for a fun morning, or simply showing your support, there’s a place for everyone at Run for Palestine.
Event Details
Location: Confluence Plaza, St. Patrick’s Island
Date: June 21, 2026
Together with our charity partners, Islamic Relief Canada and IDRF Canada, we’ll be supporting urgent food and health initiatives in Gaza.
We’re also proud to continue our partnership with Muhsen to host an accessible walk, ensuring individuals with special needs and their families can participate in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Exciting News for Families
We’re excited to announce that Hanan’s Preschool will be leading our brand new Little Roots Village this year.
Little Roots Village is a dedicated space designed for our youngest participants to enjoy a fun and engaging event experience while learning about Palestine in meaningful and age appropriate ways. Through hands on activities, games, crafts, and interactive experiences, children will have the opportunity to build connections, learn about community, and take part in the spirit of the day.
Our goal is to make Run for Palestine a truly family friendly event where participants of all ages can engage, learn, and contribute to a meaningful cause.
We are incredibly excited about this new partnership and grateful to Hanan’s Preschool for helping bring Little Roots Village to life.
More Than a Run
Run for Palestine is more than a race. It’s a community celebration bringing together runners, walkers, families, volunteers, and supporters for a day of purpose and connection.
Enjoy a scenic morning at St. Patrick’s Island featuring our 5K Run, Community & Accessible Walk, Kids Race, Little Roots Village, family activities, face painting, balloon artists, kite making, community BBQ, sponsor booths, and much more.
Whether you’re coming to run, walk, volunteer, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.

The run will begin at 11:00 AM sharp, so please ensure you arrive by 10:00 AM.

10:50 AM Kids Race
11:00 AM 5K Run Begins
11:15 AM 1K Community & Accessible Walk Begins
11:45 AM – 1:00 PM Community BBQ
1:30 PM Closing Ceremony and Awards Presentation
Registration Information
As a charity event, we begin planning months in advance based on registration numbers. Your registration helps us organize shirts, medals, food, activities, accessibility services, permits, and event logistics.
Registration Policy
All registrations are final and non refundable.
If you are unable to attend, your registration fee will still go directly toward supporting the cause. While we understand that plans can change, we are unable to offer refunds as event expenses are committed based on actual ticket sales and participation numbers.
