America's Kids Run and the Run the Rock 5K/10K are open to the public! Join us for an exciting weekend at the Rock Island Arsenal!
Join us for an action-packed weekend celebrating Armed Forces Day at the Rock Island Arsenal! The kids' races (100 yard dash, 1/2 mile, 1 mile, and 2 mile) will take place on Friday evening, with the 5K and 10K on Saturday morning. This flat, fast course is perfect for chasing a personal best, set against the historic backdrop of the Rock Island Arsenal and the scenic Mississippi River.
Part of a full weekend of Armed Forces Day activities, including live music, food, vendors, military displays, a car show, and fireworks, Run the Rock is a fun, community-focused way to honor and support our armed forces while making memories with every step!

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male/female finishers in the 5K/10K, as well as the top 1 male/female finisher in the following age groups:
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
