Please join Trinity First School on Saturday, September 12th for our 3rd Annual Tiger Trek 5K Run / Walk and 1 Mile Run / Walk on beautiful Lake Phalen. We had just under 300 race registrations in our 2nd year and expect to have over 350 this year.
Trinity First is a Christian School in the Phillips Neighborhood of Minneapolis that serves a diverse, high need population. At Trinity First we believe in not only providing a quality education for our 140+ students who range from age 3 through grade 8, but we also support the parents in life skills and counseling as well as provide support for the community as a whole.
A full 95% of the school’s income comes through donations. Please support Trinity First by participating in our Tiger Trek Event.
After the completion of race activities, we would love for you to stick around for our awards and recognition program. We will also be serving food and drinks that you can enjoy.
All 5k and 1 Mile participants will receive:
- Performance tech runner’s shirt
- Finisher’s medal
- Swag bag
- Commemorative gift
- Chip timed race on beautiful Lake Phalen
- Runner's timing bib
- Post race food and liquid refreshments
- Water stop at mile 2 (5K only)
We have live musicians playing on the course for your entertainment as well as our Tiger mascot for you to interact and take pictures with.
Event pricing is as follows. Register early for the best deal!! (Please note that upon registration a processing fee paid to others will be charged, including a 6.99% transaction fee and $1.99 per registrant fee.)

Sponsorship opportunities by businesses and organizations are key to raising additional money to support Trinity First School. We offer a variety of sponsorship levels starting at $500.
Depending on the sponsorship level that is selected a business or organization sponsor may receive some or all of the following benefits:
- Name and logo on race shirt
- Name or logo on Start / Finish line banners or signage
- Name or logo on signage at various places on the course
- Name or logo on race registration site
- Ability to include sponsor provided information or SWAG items in runner race SWAG bags.

10% of all race entry fees will go as a donation by Trinity First School to support the programs of our friends at The Dwelling Place.
