The 2026 Cowtown C.A.L.F. Race

The 16th Annual

Cowtown C.A.L.F. 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile Walk & Run

As part of The Cowtown Marathon’s mission to promote a lifelong love of fitness, The C.A.L.F. Program was created in 2009 to help tens of thousands of area children lace up and cross the finish line. Our staff and volunteers visit approximately 400 schools across North Texas annually, training students in proper running techniques and educating them about resting heart rate, the importance of hydration, proper nutrition, and living an active lifestyle.

On October 3rd, The C.A.L.F. Race will take place Fort Worth City Hall and will feature three different distances to choose from—1-mile, 5K, or 10K.

Once you cross your finish line, runners will receive finisher’s swag for one-mile participants, high-quality medals for 5K and 10K distances, a delicious pancake breakfast (included with registration cost), face painting for the children, and a DJ playing fun and lively music.

The C.A.L.F Run is open to all ages, so lace up your shoes and join the fun.

All proceeds for this event supports The Cowtown C.A.L.F. program benefitting underserved children by providing properly fitted running shoes and fitness training to jumpstart their love of fitness at an early age.
