10 mile race from Lock and Dam 14 to Lock and Dam 15 on the Mississippi River. Racers will launch from Illiniwek Forest Preserve and finish at the Lake Davenport Sailing Club. All registration prices are per person, not per boat. There is an additional $20 race fee.

10-Mile Dam to Dam Kayak Race & Navarro Canoe Co. Quad Cities Cup!
Kayak race begins at 9:30am at the Illiniwek Forest Preserve Boat Ramp in Hampton, IL.
Navarro Canoe Co. Quad Cities Cup race begins at 9:40am at the Illiniwek Forest Preserve Boat Ramp in Hampton, IL.
Race starts just downstream from Lock and Dam No. 14 (Illiniwek Forest Preserve Boat Ramp-Hampton, IL) and finishes just upstream from Lock and Dam No. 15. (Davenport Sailing Club area) on the Mississippi River.
Racers may continue downstream to join the rest of the Floatzilla participants or head back upstream to exit to their vehicles at Leach Park -Bettendorf, IA.
Kayak racers do NOT have to lock through Lock and Dam No. 15 or Lock and Dam No. 14..
Additional $20 entry fee for all racers.
We strongly encourage racers to continue on downstream to join the Floatzilla event and participate with the rest of the paddlers for the group photo at 1:30pm and world record attempt at Potter Lake - Rock Island, IL.
Registration Includes
One Floatzilla t-shirt, commemorative boat sticker, registration wrist band, free parking, and use of the shuttle bus.

The Quad Cities are easily accessed where I-80 and I-74 cross the Mississippi River.

- Follow all safety rules.
- You must provide your own equipment.
- A limited supply of canoe and kayak rentals are available from regional outfitters; visit www.floatzillaqc.org for more information.

- Launch sites are based on the paddler's skill level, desired amount of time on the water and whether you'd like to lock through or portage or just paddle.
- There will be no refunds for registrations. However, if you'd like to change the registered participant contact River Action at 563-322-2969.
- This is a rain or shine event, however if the Coast Guard determines it is not safe to be on the water prior to launch time, we will post it on our Facebook page. During the event, if weather becomes unsafe, the Coast Guard and Safety Boats will alert all paddlers to the nearest take out point.
