

| The Winnipeg Frontrunners Pride Run is a fun, non-competitive running or walking event open to everyone - all ages and abilities welcome! The run starts and ends at the Forks festival site in the heart of Winnipeg. We have 3km and 6km routes. The theme for our Pride Run is Pride Moves. We welcome runners and walkers of all experience levels. Just bring your most colourful running or walking gear and your positive, Pride-filled energy! |

Race Package Pick Up
Race kits will include a t-shirt (if you ordered one when you registered), race bibs, bag tag, and safety pins. We encourage you to pick up your kit on Thursday or Friday evening to avoid delays on Saturday morning. You can pick up race kits for your family, friends and team members.
Thursday June 4, 5pm-7pm: City Park Runners (2091 Portage Ave)

- There is a table near the Start/Finish area for kit pick-up which will close at 8:30am. Please arrive early in case there is a line so that we can distribute kits as quickly as possible.

Event Start/Finish Times and Location
The Start/Finish area is located at the Forks festival site just east of Orientation Circle (see photo). The race briefing and other announcements will begin at 8:35am. 6km will start at 9am. 3km will start at 9:05am.

What to Bring
Please bring sunscreen and a water bottle (you can leave it at bag check while you run). You are welcome to dress up or wear your most colourful clothes!

2026 Course Map
The Pride Run will begin and finish at the Forks Festival grounds. All routes start and finish at the Orientation Circle at The Forks (marked red in the map below). The 3km distance is one lap of the route and the 6km distance is two laps of the route.

IMPORTANT: The course will go through the Winnipeg Pride Festival site and The Forks Market patio, please be mindful of visitors of The Forks and the Pride Festival.
CAUTION: The course is a mixture of dirt, gravel, grass, and concrete trails. There are surface tree roots along the path, steps, and some sections require participants to proceed single file. Please be careful and respectful of others.
PARKING: There is ample parking at The Forks parkade and local surface lots.
Pride Moves Shirts
2026 Pride Run shirts, designed by Joan Ballester, feature the Winnipeg city skyline and the colours of the Progress Pride Flag.
| The Progress Pride Flag combines the Rainbow Pride Flag with the Transgender Flag along with black and brown stripes that represent Black, Indigenous, and people of colour (BIPOC) in the 2SLGBTQ+ community as well as community members who have died from, or are currently living with, HIV/AIDS. | ![]() |

Winnipeg Frontrunners wants all members of our community who want to participate to have that opportunity. If the registration fee would be a barrier to you participating, we have a number of free registrations available. Contact us and we'll work something out!
MRA members can receive a $5 discount on registration fees over $25, please enter your MRA number at registration to receive the discount.

Donations to Rainbow Resource Centre - Camp Aurora
| A portion of registration fees will be donated to Rainbow Resource Centre, in support of Camp Aurora. Camp Aurora is an overnight summer camp for Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning (2SLGBTQ+) youth between the ages 14-17. Camp Aurora has been running since 2007. Camp Aurora is run by Rainbow Resource Centre and is located about 2 hours outside of Winnipeg in the Whiteshell area at Camp Brereton, thanks to an in-kind donation from Variety Manitoba. | |
