About the Event
The Heart & Sole Road Race is a Pittsville Volunteer Fire Department fundraiser for equipment and several community projects, including two college scholarships.
This non-profit organization provides fire and emergency medical services to the City of Pittsville and a large portion of Wood County.
Event Details
TIMES: Kids quarter mile race starts at 6:30 pm (no entry fee).
2 and 5 mile race time is 7pm.
COURSE: Out and back - fast! Aid Stations and Splits given. Also, complimentary refreshments for runners and walkers at finish.
Showers available at high school from 5:00 - 9:00 PM
Race will be chip timed. Come early to pick up number and chip.
AWARDS: Top 3 finishers in each age group; men and women.
John Moen Memorial award is given in special recognition of a participant age 70 or over.
