Ride for the Light 2026

Recreational Ride on the Tanglefoot Trail® in northeast Mississippi

Family friendly, recreational ride on the beautiful, shady Tanglefoot Trail® in northeast Mississippi.

Ride for the Light is an annual bike ride dedicated to raising funds for initiatives such as clean water projects in Africa and humanitarian efforts worldwide.

Participants may choose the distance best suited for their ability:
- Pontotoc to Houston and back (50 miles)
- Pontotoc to Houlka and back (approx. 30 miles)
- Pontotoc to Algoma and back (approx. 10 miles)

Youth Ride Pass: Making it fun for the whole family? This ½ price Ride Pass is made just for your young riders ages 8-17.

Ride Along: Bringing a little one along? Kids ages 0-7 ride FREE with a paying adult.

Participants will receive an event t-shirt (guaranteed to those registered by May 18), and finisher medals for all who complete the event. A light lunch will be provided at the Gateway beginning at 11:30AM.
