Countdown to event
Event options:
- 10 km (ages 14 and over)
- Kids 3.2 km (ages under 14)
Parents or caregivers are welcome to accompany children in the 3.2 km race at no extra charge.
Location and course information:
- The registration area and finish line is at the picnic area in South Hagley Park on Deans Ave, opposite Freyberg Ave.
- The course is 3 laps in South Hagley Park for the 10 km race and 1 lap for the Kids 3.2 km race. See course map.
- The start and finish line for the 10 km race is 400 m back from start line (near the corner of Deans and Riccarton Ave). Kids start and finish at the registration area.
- The closest public toilets to the registration area are south of the registration area by the rugby fields. Closest toilets to the 10 km start line are across the road in North Hagley Park.
- There will be one aid station offering water and Pure electrolyte drink.
- Please be aware that the park will be open to the public during the event.
