Get ready for a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly 5K like nothing the Quad Cities has seen before! This point-to-point, timed downhill race starts at Duck Creek Park (near the tennis courts) and winds through Belle Avenue, a spooky stretch of Elm Street, and down Jersey Ridge—finishing triumphantly in the heart of the Village of East Davenport. Zombie costumes and Halloween vibes encouraged!

Kids Run – 8:45 AM
Start/Finish:* 11th Street in the Village of East Davenport Trick-or-Treating to follow!
The Kids Races kick off at 9:00 AM, starting with the 1/4 mile run, followed by the 1/2 mile run.
Every child will receive a race shirt—don’t forget to bring a bag for post-race candy during trick-or-treating in the Village!
5K Race – 10:00 AM
Start: Duck Creek Park (next to the tennis courts)
Finish: 11th Street in the Village of East Davenport
Course Overview:
The race begins at the back end of Duck Creek Park, next to the tennis courts. Runners will head downhill onto the Duck Creek Bike Path, traveling west toward Jersey Ridge. From there, you’ll exit the path and climb Belle Avenue past Oakdale Cemetery (our first hydration station). Then it’s a left turn onto Elm Street and a fast, scenic downhill finish on Jersey Ridge—ending in the heart of the Village of East Davenport.
Shuttle buses
Free shuttle buses will run from Kelso’s Corner (1117 Mound Street, Davenport, IA 52806) to the start line between 8:45 AM and 9:45 AM. This is a point-to-point race—please park near the finish and take the shuttle to the start.
