My Story…
We’re taking part in Run4Geelong as a thank you to the incredible doctors and nurses who cared for our daughter, Valerie, in the Special Care Nursery during her first three weeks of life.
Valerie was born six weeks early and the compassion, skill and reassurance shown by the Special Care Nursery team meant more to our family than we could ever put into words. They cared for our tiny girl when she needed it most and supported us through one of the most emotional times of our lives.
This run is our way of giving back and helping the Special Care Nursery continue providing that same lifesaving care and support to other babies and their families.

I've joined Run4Geelong, a race for better health.
I'm taking part in Run4Geelong 2026 to support Barwon Health and help improve healthcare for our local community.
By donating, you'll be helping fund an area of Barwon Health that means the most to me, ensuring local patients and families continue to receive exceptional care when they need it most.
