The 48th Annual Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Run will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, and is USATF- sanctioned and certified road race, we draw close runners from all over Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and beyond.
Starting gun goes off at 8:30am sharp!
This race is held during Sycamore Illinois' famous Pumpkin Festival and has become a staple in the Northern Illinois race circuit. The Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Run has been named a Best of Chicagoland Race by Chicago Area Runners Association. Proceeds from the Sycamore Pumpkin Run assist in maintaining our historic downtown shopping district, creating opportunities to help small businesses succeed, and improving our local economy through community development.

- America 250 Commemorative Long-sleeve dri-release race 10K shirt (Size guaranteed, if registered by October 1)
- America 250 Commemorative Short sleeve Fun Run shirt (Size guaranteed, if registered by October 1)

We have 1000 Sycamore Pumpkin 10K finisher medals for this year’s race. Medals will be handed out at the finish line while supplies last. While we will do our best to ensure everyone receives a medal, we cannot guarantee availability for all finishers.

1 Mile Family Fun Pumpkin Run
FUN RUN STARTING LINE @ On the path into park, just east of Armory, near the west park entrance. Runners will head East into the park, past the tennis courts, around the pool, back to finish line! Walkers welcome but must line up in the back of the start corral. Strollers are also allowed but we ask that you start in the back of the pack. Just follow the purple runner signs!! Gun goes off at 8:30am for both races! Finish line is the same as the 10K Pumpkin Run in the park on the West side of the West entrance to the Park…. can’t miss it! FUN RUN BIBS: The Fun Run will not be timed, but we do have custom bibs for each registrant. FUN RUN RACE SHIRT – Custom race shirt to first 200 registered runners.
