When will I find out if I'm on Team Daniel or Team Henrik?
You'll be randomly assigned to either Team Daniel or Team Henrik, and you'll find out which team you're on during bib pick-up during the week before race day.
Please note that we're unable to accommodate individual requests for team assignments.
How will the winning Team be decided?
Team Daniel or Team Henrik will be crowned the winner based on a combination of three challenges:
1. The Sedin Showdown - the winner of Daniel and Henrik's head-to-head race up the Grouse Grind
2. The Team Challenge - the winning team determined by the average of the top 50 Grouse Grind times from Team Daniel and Team Henrik participants
3. The Fundraising Faceoff - the team that raises the highest total fundraising amount by event day
Prizing to recognize individuals will also be awarded. More details will be released before race day.

Important Cupless Racing Announcement
As part of Grouse Mountain's wider sustainability initiatives, we're working to reduce waste at our events. Our Grind events are cupless, meaning we are eliminating the use of disposable cups at aid stations. All participants will receive access to hydration at our finish line aid station, however we ask that you carry your own refillable hydration vessel.
HydraPak SpeedCups are a great re-usable alternative to disposable cups for those who do not wish to carry a bottle or hydration vest and are available to purchase at a reduced rate during registration.
