Funds raised for this event benefit all programs of the Free Clinic of Simi Valley that support Mental Health. The event's namesake, Fredrick Michael Gibson, was a caring, intelligent, and academically accomplished you man who enjoyed tennis, video games, and spending time with his beloved family. Tragically, in 2014, before he finished his last year at UCSD Skaggs School of Pharmacy, Fredrick lost his life to depression. Every year the community and many of Fredrick's family members, including race coordinator and Fredrick's aunt — Karen Finmark, come together to honor Fredrick by raising awareness and breaking the stigma surrounding depression, and supporting others to get life-saving mental health services. This event aims to stop the silent suffering of those with depression and invites participants to walk, run, and heal together.

LOCATION & TIME!!!
Location: Rancho Simi Community Park – at the corner of Erringer Rd. & Royal Ave. next to the tennis courts.
The event will be on a SUNDAY again!!! Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 11th!
Event Times:
7:00am – Half Marathon Starts
8:15 am – 5K/10K Runners Start
8:20 am – 5K/10K Walkers & Strollers Start *NEW START TIME*
9:30AM – Kids Fun Run Starts

Please note: You must start your event on time. If you start late, you may not be timed, so please plan accordingly.
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup Information:
Saturday, October 10th 1:00-5:00pm at 99.1 The Ranch Radio Station in the Simi Town Center Mall near the food court.
* It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you pick up your packets here the day before the event. *
If you need to pick up your packet on race day, please come early as it will be busy. If you are running the Half Marathon and want to sign up on race day, be sure to be there between 6:00am-6:45 am. Sign up will end for the Half Marathon at 6:45am. Sign up will end for 5K/10K 8:00am, and Kids Fun Run at 9:00am.

5K/10K Course Map
5K/10K INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Head EAST to ERRINGER.
2. Go NORTH on sidewalk to the NORTH ARROYO entrance, turn LEFT (West).
3. Stay on ARROYO until you are at 1.5 MILES (BRIDGE). This is the turn around.
4. Out and back course. Come back to START/FINISH.
5. **10K DOES THIS ROUTE TWICE.**
Half Marathon Course Map
HALF MARATHON DIRECTIONS:
1. Head EAST toward ERRINGER.
2. Go NORTH on sidewalk to NORTH ARROYO entrance, turn LEFT (West).
3. GO PAST the 5K/10K turn around at the 1.5 mile marker (BRIDGE), heading straight to MADERA.
**DO NOT TURN AROUND HERE!**
4. Turn around at MADERA (WATER STOP). Go back to the bridge, heading EAST.
5. Go over the bridge (SOUTH). Turn RIGHT (West) heading towards MADERA.
6. Turn around at MADERA (WATER STOP) and go back to the bridge.
7. Go over the bridge (North), turn RIGHT (East) and head back to ERRINGER.
8. At ERRINGER turn RIGHT (South). Go to SOUTH ARROYO and turn RIGHT.
9. Go to turn around, (WATER STOP), head back to ERRINGER (East).
10. Turn RIGHT at ERRINGER, head back to START/FINISH to RUN SECOND LAP.
