Join us for the 2nd Annual Nepisulti’kul 5/10km Race on June 6, 2026 in Eskasoni L’nue’kati! This exciting event is designed to promote wellness, fitness, and community connection.

Eskasoni Nepisulti’kul is proud to present the 2nd Annual 5/10km Race, with a vision to strengthen wellness for families while staying active. Our goal is to create a fun and inclusive environment where participants of all ages and abilities can come together to promote physical activity, mental well-being, and community spirit.

Event Details

- 5km and 10km Run: Choose from two distances and challenge yourself to reach new heights.

-Children's Fun Run

- Medals, Shirts, Bags, and Water Bottles: All participants will receive a commemorative medal, event t-shirt, reusable bag, and water bottle.

- Food and Refreshments: Enjoy delicious food and refreshments throughout the morning including a post-event brunch for participants and their families.

- Children's Activities: Engage in fun activities and games designed for kids, making this a family-friendly event.

Schedule

- Children's Race will be held at the EEMS School 9:00 am and you can register ON SITE - that morning - with Anne Basque & helpers

- 10km and 5km Run: 9:00 am/9:15 am at the Eskasoni PowWow Grounds

- Brunch, Giveaways, Entertainment and Celebrations: Immediately following the events

Finish Line

The Eskasoni Pow Wow Grounds will serve as the start/finish line for each event, where participants can celebrate their achievements and enjoy the company of friends and family.

Routes

The route for the 10k Race is from Eskasoni PowWow Grounds to Main Gas Bar and back to PowWow Grounds.

The following areas will have crossing guards to assist participants to cross roads and crosswalks safely for both the 5k and 10k Race.

The route for the 5k Race is from PowWow Eskasoni PowWow Grounds to Eskasoni Goat Island Stage and back to PowWow Grounds.

Locations of Crossing Guards:

1. Denny's Lane 2. Crane Cove Road 3. EFWC 4. Goat Island

Water Stations will be at:

1. Eskasoni PowWow Grounds 2. Eskasoni School Parking Lot 3. Eskasoni Fire Hall

4. Muin Gas 5. Goat Island
