21st Annual Footloose Freedom Mile

Kick off your 4th of July in Mammoth Lakes with the Mammoth Track Club's 21st Annual Footloose Freedom Mile! This event is all about FUN! It is a one-mile road race staged 30 minutes (approximately 10:30am) before the Town of Mammoth Lakes Fourth of July parade on Old Mammoth Road.
*RACE REGISTRATION IS AT MAMMOTH CREEK PARK STARTING AT 8:00AM AND CLOSING AT 10:00AM
All Participants Receive:
-Signature Event T-Shirt while supplies last
-Commemorative Race Bib
-Finisher's Medal
-Water Stations @ Start and Finish (please bring a water bottle)
About the Race:
The race day registration is at MAMMOTH CREEK PARK on Old Mammoth Road and the race finishes at Footloose Sports at the corner of Old Mammoth Road and Main Street.
Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome!
The course is closed to bikes and vehicles.
There is no official timing. There will be a race clock at the finish line for you to record your finishing time.

Race proceeds go to the Mammoth Track Club Elite Athletes and Mammoth High School Cross Country Running Teams

Parking:
We encourage all participants to park their vehicles in town and walk to MAMMOTH CREEK PARK to pick up their bib numbers and race shirts.
Other Details:
-Sorry, no dogs allowed as we have had prior issues with runners getting tangled in leashes.
-Festive 4th of July outfits are encouraged!
