🧡 Volunteer Roles – Stronger Together Walk‑Run (September 28, 2025)
Volunteer with Us – Stronger Together 5K
Join us on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Aptos High School for our 5th annual Stronger Together 1k/5k Walk-Run! Volunteers help make this inspiring community event possible by supporting with setup, registration, water stations, the kids’ zone, clean-up, and more. Whether you're cheering runners on or handing out water, your time makes a difference for survivors and families in our community.

Available Volunteer Roles
1. Setup Crew (7:00 – 9:00 AM)
Assist with placing signage, cones, tables, and resource booths
Help unload and stage food trucks and community tables
2. Registration & Packet Pick-Up (8:00 – 10:00 AM)
Welcome walkers/runners and handle same-day sign-ups
Distribute bibs, shirts, and promote sponsor booths
3. Course Marshals & Water Station (9:00 – 11:30 AM)
Guide participants along the 1k and 5k routes
Manage water stations—refilling cups, handing out refreshments, and cheering on participants
4. Finish Line Crew (9:30 AM–12:00 PM)
Congratulate finishers
Assist with chip collection and direct participants toward post-race activities
5. Kid Zone & Resource Village Helpers (9:00 – 12:00 PM)
Support children’s area activities and crafts
Provide info and guidance at community resource tables
6. Crowd & Parking Control (8:00 – 11:00 AM)
Direct parking and usher participants/spectators
Ensure safe, clear pathways throughout the course
7. Breakdown & Clean-Up Crew (11:00 – 1:00 PM)
Dismantle course setup: signage, cones, trash
Help tidy the grounds and assist vendors in pack-up
