5 Days for the Homeless

Help support youth experiencing homelessness by donating to our fundraising goal for the Monster Dash. Your donations will not only provide opportunities for students to engage with Edmonton’s nonprofit sector, but also support Youth Empowerment & Support Services (YESS) in providing low-barrier physical, mental, cultural, and emotional health support.

5 Days for the Homeless is a student-run volunteer organization based at the University of Alberta that dedicates its time and effort to raising awareness and funds for youth experiencing homelessness. Our goal is not only to create meaningful opportunities for students to get involved, but also to foster a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by youth experiencing homelessness. Through immersive experiences, educational initiatives, and community engagement, we aim to inspire action and drive meaningful change in our community.
