HERS Breast Cancer Foundation’s 27th Annual 5K & 10K Walk/Run Fundraiser & Community Expo
Saturday, September 26, 2026 — 7:00 am to 11:30 am.
Calling all heroes! Grab your cape, rally your super crew, and join HERS and fellow community heroes as we come together to support breast cancer patients in need!
HERS invites you, your family, friends, coworkers, and teammates to spend a powerful morning at Fremont’s Quarry Lakes Regional Park. Choose from a 5K walk, timed 5K run, or timed 10K run.
Every registration, donation, and fundraising effort helps patients access products that support healing both physically and emotionally. Your participation helps remind every patient that they are not facing cancer alone. Together, we can bring hope, strength, compassion, and care to those who need it most.

We can’t wait to see you September 26th at Quarry Lakes Regional Park in Fremont for an inspiring, uplifting, and energizing morning. Whether you choose our timed 5K or 10K run options or participate in the 5K walk, you’ll become part of a beloved community event dedicated to changing lives.
Funds raised from this year’s superhero-themed event will help low-income, under-insured, and uninsured HERS patients receive the post-surgical products and services they deserve.
This year’s heroic event features include:
• Opening Ceremonies featuring Elaine’s Circle and Symbolic “Dove” Release
• High-energy warmup activities to get heroes race-ready
• Superhero costume contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place — capes encouraged!
• Community Expo with giveaways and prizes donated by local businesses
• Music, entertainment, photo opportunities, and family-friendly fun
Registration Information
Registrant benefits include a commemorative event t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and light breakfast & lunch.
Advance registration is strongly recommended. To help streamline our processes and reduce costs, registration will be available online only and no refunds will be given once registered.
Please note: our t-shirt cutoff is 9/12/26. T-shirt sizes are not 100% guaranteed after this date.
Parking Information
We recommend carpooling if you are able. Parking inside the park lot is $5. Quarry Lakes is cashless - credit card and tap-to-pay will be accepted at entrance booth.
