My Story…
Russell Keeler 55, from Kingston, PA. I'm a 1988 graduate of Pittston Area High School, a 1991 graduate of Luzerne County Community College, and a 1994 graduate of College Misericordia. I am currently employed by U-Haul as a General Manager.
This September, I will be married to my wife Ann Marie for 30 years. We have two daughters, Amethyst and Caroline.
This is my second time participating in the Gentlemen's Dash. I was in the inaugural group of men. I believe this might make me the first two-time dasher and if not one of the few who have.
Since my first dash, I have taking up running, where I have completed 6 marathons and one ultramarathon. I have been to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.
If I look familiar, you might know me as the Bra Guy. Last September, I set out to set a Guinness World Record for most bras worn by a male at the Steamtown Marathon. The number of bras was 50, unfortunately I did fall short of finishing the marathon.
I support Paint The Planet Pink because this is an inspiring and hard working group of people, who work every day to make the world cancer free.
I also participate, because I got up this morning, and someone else did not.
I am doing my dash in honor of Katie Lynn Poplaski
