My Story…
It takes a special sort of person to choose a career dedicated to helping others. These are the people responsible for the freedoms we all enjoy. From defensing our Charter freedoms to patching us up when we crash out. If they can donate their lives, we can donate a few hours or a few dollars to repay their service. If our support helps one person living with an OSI it is worth the effort.
I've never been a first repsonder but have heard that duty gear weighs about 50 lbs. I can only imagine what the emotional gear weighs. We have their backs and for every 10 dollars raised I'll add 1 lb to my ruck, until we reach our fundraising goals. Last year was 76 lbs, hopefully this year I top it off.
