Terms & Conditions
General
1. By completing the online registration, participants agree to abide by all Terms & Conditions, rules, and regulations set by the Organiser, DAPSY Selangor, for the DAP60 Neon Rocket Run 2026.
2. The Organiser reserves the right to accept, reject, or limit any registration at its sole discretion without assigning any reason.
3. Participants are responsible for ensuring that all registration details submitted are accurate and complete. Incomplete, false, or misleading information may result in disqualification without refund.
4. Registration is only confirmed upon successful payment of the applicable entry fee.
5. All registrations are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.
6. No changes to participant name, category, or other registration details will be allowed after confirmation. Participants are advised to verify all information before submission.
7. No walk-in or on-the-spot registrations will be entertained.
8. Registration fees will not be refunded in the event of withdrawal, no-show, disqualification, postponement, or cancellation, except where required by law. In the event of postponement, the Organiser may, at its discretion, transfer the registration to the revised event date.
9. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the event format, route, distance, venue, schedule, entitlements, or any other event details where necessary due to safety, operational, regulatory, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
10. Participants must follow the official race route and comply with all instructions issued by race officials, marshals, medical personnel, police, RELA, and/or local authorities.
11. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the event shall be final and binding.
12. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser, collaborators, sponsors, partners, vendors, volunteers, officers, employees, and representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, claim, cost, or expense arising from participation in the event.
Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC)
1. Participants must collect their Race Entry Pack during the official REPC dates and venue announced by the Organiser.
2. Collection on behalf of another participant is permitted upon presentation of the participant’s confirmation slip and/or a copy of the participant’s IC or identification document.
3. Race Packs not collected during the designated REPC period will be deemed forfeited. No alternative collection arrangements will be entertained unless otherwise stated by the Organiser.
Safety & Responsibility
1. Participants take part in the event entirely at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically fit to participate.
2. The Organiser will take reasonable precautions to ensure participant safety but shall not be responsible for any injury, illness, death, accident, loss, or damage to personal property arising from participation in the event.
3. Participants are required to complete the emergency contact information on the reverse side of the race bib prior to the event.
4. Participants must immediately stop the race and seek assistance from on-site medical personnel if they feel unwell before or during the event.
5. The Organiser and official medical team reserve the right to remove any participant deemed medically unfit to continue the race.
6. In the event of a medical emergency, the Organiser may arrange medical assistance and/or transportation where necessary. Any medical expenses incurred shall be borne solely by the participant.
Disqualification
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to have committed any of the following offences:
● Failure to wear the official race bib visibly at all times during the event.
● Taking shortcuts or deviating from the official race route.
● Use of substitute runners or any form of cheating or misconduct.
● Littering along the race route or event venue.
● Continuing the race after the official cut-off time without authorisation.
● Consumption of alcohol, stimulants, prohibited substances, or illegal drugs during the event.
● Disobeying instructions issued by race officials, marshals, or authorities.
The Organiser’s decision regarding any disqualification shall be final and binding.
Inclement Weather
1. In the event of adverse weather conditions or circumstances beyond reasonable control, the Organiser reserves the right to delay the start time, modify the race route, postpone, or cancel the event in the interest of participant safety.
2. No refund shall be provided in such circumstances.
Photography & Media
1. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs, videos, recordings, or other media captured during the event for promotional, publicity, marketing, or commercial purposes without further notice or compensation.
2. By registering for the event, participants grant full consent for the use of their image, likeness, voice, and appearance in any form of media related to the event.
Personal Data Protection (PDPA)
1. By registering for the event, participants consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of their personal data by the Organiser and its appointed partners for purposes including but not limited to event administration, participant safety, communication, promotional activities, marketing, and compliance with legal obligations.
2. All personal data will be managed in accordance with applicable personal data protection laws and regulations.
Medical Advisory
1. Running is a physically demanding activity. Participants are strongly encouraged to consult a qualified medical professional before registering and participating in the event.
2. Participants should not take part if they are suffering from any medical condition that may affect their ability to participate safely.
3. Participants who feel unwell before or during the race must immediately seek assistance from event medical personnel.
Minors
1. Participants below the age of 18 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to participation.
2. The parent or legal guardian shall accept full responsibility and liability for the minor’s participation in the event.
