Race Day Volunteers Needed!
The LCpl. Matthew Rodriguez Memorial Foundation is looking for volunteers to help make the 2026 LCpl. Matthew Rodriguez Run to Remember 5K a safe, successful, and memorable event for everyone!
Whether you’re cheering runners on, helping participants find their way, or lending a hand at the start/finish line, every volunteer makes a difference.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Course Support – Help guide runners and walkers along the course and make sure everyone stays on the correct route.
- Start/Finish Line – Assist with registration and participant check-in, distribute race coins, and help with other start/finish line activities.
- Water Station – Provide water and encouragement to participants as they make their way through the course.
- General Race Day Support – Help with setup, cleanup, and other tasks as needed throughout the event.
No experience is necessary. Just bring your enthusiasm, a helping hand, and your support for our mission!
Students needing volunteer hours for school or religious requirements, we are happy to sign your volunteer letters to get you the credit you earned!
The deadline for volunteer sign-ups is Saturday, October 10, 2026.
Join us on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Fort Phoenix State Reservation in Fairhaven, MA, and help us honor the memory of LCpl Matthew Rodriguez while supporting the work of the LCpl Matthew Rodriguez Memorial Foundation.
