We adopted Dax (fka Tommie) from The Bond Between in 2021 when he was 12 weeks old. As a Great Pyrenees/American Pitbull Terrier/Collie mix, he was goofy, protective, loyal, and so sensitive. His favorite activities included playing fetch, camping and hiking, and laying in the shade on his porch surveying his yard. He loved his people fiercely and hated the mailman. Dax was put to rest peacefully on his beloved porch on May 31, 2026, after a short and aggressive battle with suspected late stage cancer, 2.5 weeks before his 5th birthday.
