The Deadwood Mickelson Trail Marathon is a point to point course, beginning in the hamlet of Rochford and ending at the historic Engine House…the Deadwood Trailhead.
A word from the Race Director: There are a lot of marathons out there claiming to be the “most scenic,” and all of them have legitimate reasons for such a claim. None of them, however, are run through the sacred land of the Lakota Sioux, and finish in a town that is an Historic Landmark… that’s right, the entire town of Deadwood, South Dakota is part of our authentic American heritage. All race directors think they have something special to offer you, and I am no different.
