Kilometers for Kids 2026

Walk / Run / Ride for Mental Health

Countdown to event

Come on out with the whole family on

Saturday October 17

to raise money for local youth!


You have the option to walk, run or bike either our 1 km or 5 km routes in downtown Cobourg.

Our day will kick off at 9:15am outside Victoria Hall, and wraps up at the finish line for our 5km route at the Lions Pavilion in Victoria Park.

A peameal sandwich, a drink and a ballot for our Door Prize are included with your registration fee!

Get your friends and family together and build a team!

Youth and groups 4+ enjoy discounted registration. Kids under 5 are free! (Please note that these discounts will appear on the final page of your registration process.)

Prizes will be awarded on the day to the leading fundraisers. Plus a door prize will be drawn from a pool of all participants! So be sure to stick around and play with us in Victoria Park after your route is over.

Plus, with Halloween right around the corner we encourage you to come on out in your costume! We'll award a prize for best costume too!

Event Timing

8:30 AM - Check-In Opens in front of Victoria Hall, Cobourg

9:15 AM - Opening Ceremonies and Warm-up

9:30 AM - 1km and 5km Walk / Run / Ride begins

10:45 AM - Picnic, Prizes and Closing Ceremony in Victoria Park, Cobourg

Since 1997 Rebound has been helping kids in our community, adapting to fill the service gaps here in Northumberland County in the areas of mental health, academic supports, justice diversion and youth homelessness prevention. Last year alone we served over 1800 local young people.

We believe in empowering kids, giving them a second chance to reach their full potential. And we believe in the ripple effects that has in building a positive and vibrant community for all of us.

Every one of our services is completely free for clients, so we rely on a committed network of community partners and donors. Our signature fundraising event, Kilometers for Kids, plays a vital role in funding our core services. Learn more about our work at rcys.ca

1 km Fun Run (or walk or ride!)

  • 1km - starts at Victoria Hall and finishes at Victoria Park. Geared to kids, but available to all!

5km Walk or Run

Registration closes in 17 days 18 hours

  • Choose this if you are planning to walk or run the 5 km route (you can always bike on the day if you change your mind!)
