Run.Roti.Rave Event
By registering for and participating in RUN ROTI RAVE ("the Event"), participants acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Registration
1. Registration is only deemed valid upon successful payment and receipt of confirmation from the Organiser.
2. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise determined by the Organiser.
3. Participants are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration is accurate, complete, and up to date.
2. Participant Eligibility
1. Participants must satisfy any minimum age requirements specified by the Organiser.
2. Participants under the age of 18 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to participation.
3. The Organiser reserves the right to request proof of identity and/or age at any time.
3. Health and Safety
1. Participants confirm that they are in good health and physically capable of taking part in the Event.
2. Participation is entirely at the participant’s own risk, and participants are responsible for their own health and wellbeing throughout the Event.
3. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any participant whose condition or conduct may pose a risk to themselves or others.
4. Event Conduct
1. Participants must comply with all instructions issued by Event officials, volunteers, marshals, security personnel, and representatives of the Organiser.
2. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous, respectful, and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
3. Any form of misconduct, harassment, vandalism, dishonesty, or behaviour that may compromise the safety or enjoyment of others may result in immediate disqualification and removal from the Event without refund.
5. Event Amendments, Postponement and Cancellation
1. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Event format, route, schedule, venue, activities, or any other aspect of the Event due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, regulatory requirements, or unforeseen circumstances.
2. In the event of postponement, cancellation, or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser (including but not limited to force majeure events), the Organiser shall not be held responsible for any costs, expenses, losses, or inconvenience incurred by participants.
3. Any refund, credit, transfer, or alternative arrangement shall be at the sole discretion of the Organiser.
6. Collection of Race Packs and Participant Entitlements
1. Participants are responsible for collecting their race packs and any associated entitlements within the collection period specified by the Organiser.
2. Any race packs, merchandise, medals, or other entitlements not collected within the designated period may be forfeited.
3. Participant entitlements are not exchangeable for cash, credit, or alternative items unless otherwise stated by the Organiser.
7. Photography and Media Consent
1. Participants acknowledge that photographs, videos, audio recordings, and other media may be captured during the Event.
2. By participating in the Event, participants grant the Organiser and its authorised partners the right to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute such materials for promotional, marketing, publicity, and related purposes without compensation or further consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
1. Participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with participation in the Event.
2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser, sponsors, partners, venue owners, contractors, volunteers, and affiliated parties shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, theft, expense, or claim arising from or in connection with participation in the Event.
9. Personal Data Protection
1. By registering for the Event, participants consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of their personal data for Event administration, communication, promotional activities, and purposes directly related to the Event.
2. The Organiser shall manage personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and regulations.
10. General Provisions
1. The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
2. All decisions made by the Organiser regarding the Event shall be final and binding.
3. Participation in the Event constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
